10 NIGHTS / 11 DAYS

Day 1- July 12, 2023, Arrival – Jaffa, Caesarea:

Arrival to Ben Gurion airport meet your guide and start the tour.  We board our tour bus and drive to Jaffa, then we proceed to visit the village where Peter saw the famous vision of the impure animals. This is the same Jaffa of the Prophet Jonah and of other Bible stories. Traveling north along the path of the ancient Via Maris we will pass by Caesarea. 

Transfer to Tiberius and to hotel, check in dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Galilee: Nazareth, Mt of Precipice, Cana, Renew our vows:

We spend the morning in Nazareth, where Jesus lived as a child, growing up amongst the other children of the city, and later working with Joseph who was a carpenter. It is here in the Church of the Annunciation just behind the altar where you can see the grotto where Mary said “yes” to the angel of the Lord. We visit St. Joseph’s carpentry shop and Mary’s well.  Then we visit Mt of Precipice at Nazareth. The Gospel Trail offers the opportunity to discover the cradle of Christianity by experiencing both physically and spiritually the same biblical landscapes and sites of the Galilee where Jesus and his disciples once walked. The Gospel Road is about 60 kilometers, but we will walk about one hour down the mountain. Once we make our way down, we will see a wonderful view of Ehmke Israel. Then we visit Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle, changing the water into wine. We will renew our vows.  Then, we travel on to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, the church, built by the Franciscans.

From there we return to our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight. (Please bring comfortable shoes for the walk)

Day 3- Mount of Beatitudes CapernaumTabaha, Sea of Galilee boat ride:

Today we visit Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered perhaps the most significant sermon ever preached – “The Sermon on the Mount”. Here, we contemplate and reflect through prayer before continuing to Capernaum, the town where Peter lived and where Jesus based his Galilean ministry. We visit the ruins of the town and gain an understanding of why Jesus focused His ministry here, where ancient Judaism flourished. We will visit the Synagogue where Jesus healed and taught, and Peter’s house. We proceed to Tabaha, the site of the multiplication of the loaves and the fishes; we will also visit the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy, where Jesus appeared after the Resurrection. We enjoy a 15.00 boat ride on the lovely Sea of Galilee. We will pray and sing songs from the Gospel.

Return to hotel Ramada Nazareth for dinner and overnight. 

Day 4-: Golan Heights: Caesarea Philippi, Mt. Bental

After breakfast, we board our bus and venture further north to visit Mt. Bental – the great panoramic views of the Golan and even, it is the site of a courageous battle fought during Israel’s war for the Golan. The mountaintop provides both scenic beauty and a glimpse back at the past – with bunkers open to visitors. Then proceed to Caesarea Philippi, just north of the Sea of Galilee and also called “Banias”, is the site where St. Peter gave his testimony and where Jesus answered him, “You are the Rock and upon this rock I will build my Church.

Then we will return to RAMADA NAZARETH HOTEL for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Travel to Jerusalem: Jericho, Jordan Valley, Quasar el Yahooed:

welcome to Jerusalem. 

Check out from the hotel and depart for our touring day. Driving south along the Jordan Valley to Our first stop, from there we proceed to Jericho, we stop in Jericho, the world’s oldest city. From the excavated Tel atop the ruins of ancient Jericho, we view the lush green Jordan Valley, Elisha’s spring and Qarantal, the Mount of Temptation.  Next, we drive to Quasar el Yahooed, the baptism site, the site where Jesus’ baptism by “Jonath”. Our day will continue with a drive to Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley’s stunning landscape. 4:30 pm welcome to Jerusalem!! We will stop at Mt. Scopus upon arrival in Jerusalem for a magnificent view of the city and a brief Explanation about the capital in the past and future. Special prayer BLESSING Challah (special bread for Sabbath) and salt. And pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Rabi David Luis will blow The Shofar!

Then drive to the hotel for check in and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6- Jerusalem –Ein Kerem, Bethlehem

After breakfast we will visit Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist and Church of the Visitation where Mary uttered the words of the Magnificat. From there, we proceed to Bethlehem City.  After we proceed to visit the cave in Shepherd’s Field and views the Fields of Boaz. We will stop for shopping in Bethlehem City.

Transfer to Jerusalem to Then return to the hotel for dinner, and overnight.

Day 7- Knesset – Old City celebration in the hotel:

After Breakfast, In the morning we will proceed to the Knesset for an INSIDE TOUR, afterward we enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and see the Cardo and the remains of Nehemiah’s Wall on the way to the Western (Wailing) Wall. The Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. We will proceed to visit Mount Zion, the Upper Room, and Dormition Abbey. In addition, visit St. Peter in Galicantu.

Return to the hotel, dinner.

Day 8- Yad Vashem, Garden tomb, City of David, Western Wall

Mt. Zion – March western Wall’

After breakfast in hotel, at 08:30 we visit Yad Vashem – Israel’s official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. It is dedicated to preserving the memory of the dead; honoring Jews who fought against their Nazi oppressors and Gentiles who selflessly aided Jews in need; and researching the phenomenon of the Holocaust in particular and genocide in general, with the aim of avoiding such events in the future. 

11 am visit Garden tomb

1:00 pm visit the city of David..

After Breakfast, we proceed to visit Mount Zion, the Upper Room, and Dormition Abbey. In addition, visit St. Peter in Galicantu.

Then for a ‘’March walk ‘’ at the Southern Wall of Jerusalem Old City in which we experience a fascinating route of the Ramparts Walk surrounding the Old City panoramic view, Western Wall we will pray together for the Pease of Jerusalem.

We proceed to the hotel, then dinner and overnight.

Day 9- Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem Old City, Gethsemane, Mt. of Olives:

This morning, we follow the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) through the old city to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where we pray on top the Rock of Calvary, inside the Lord’s tomb. We will visit also Pilate’s Judgment Hall, the Chapel of Flagellation, Lithostrotos, and the Arch of Ecce Homo (“Behold the Man”) and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. Continue to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. We visit the Church of Pater Nester and the Chapel of Ascension and then we walk down the hill to Dominus Flevit Chapel, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. We proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations where Jesus endured his Agony, visit Mary’s Tomb. 

Return to the hotel, Dinner and overnight.

Day 10- Masada & Dead Sea.

After breakfast, we will drive south, starting Masada, where we will see where Jewish defenders made their last stand against the Romans in AD 73. On top of the mountain, see the remnants of the Masada fortress, its buildings, synagogues, homes, public areas and bathhouses and hear about the tragic history of the inhabitants of the Masada fortress. The bathhouses and homes provide a fascinating look at how people lived at that time. Next, continue to the Dead Sea shore for free time, and enjoy a floating on the salty waters.

Return to Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.   

DAY  11

Breakfast in the hotel check out and drive to the Hebron to visit and pray in the macpella the tomb of Abraham Itzhak and Jacob and the mothers. The visit Beith Lechem

Lunch and drive to the airport.
